A work compiled of a large collection of compressed web videos reconfigured into a personal format or 'self-codification'. Rotoscoping is an animation technique whereby a transparent layer is placed above the original highly compressed video, a graphics tablet is then used to trace onto the transparent layer. Three artists from both Singapore and Australia draw upon cultural differences to engage in a visual and performance discourse, creating new links and reinforcing connectedness between cultures. The aim is to perform, collaborate and intervene with an emphasis on documentation and articulation of ideas by participating curators and artists. A project in installments previously held in Singapore (Plastique Kinetic Worms: 2001) and Indonesia (Benda Gallery: 2003).
