NEWS 

Adrienne Kneebone performing in the Box Set

31 May 10am - 12pm

Adrienne will be performing inside the Box Set at 24HR Art this Saturday as part of her Soft Hearts exhibition.

 

You and your beloved pets are invited to take part in Pet Photo Booth

Pet Photo Booth is an arts project that has been brought to Darwin as part of the 24HR Art residency program and is supported by the Australia Council for the Arts.

 

WA based photographers Justin Spiers and Yvonne Doherty are collecting images for a forthcoming book documenting Australians and their pets.

 

If you would like to take part, make a booking for a Pet Photo Booth portrait session, participation is free and you will receive a souvenir photograph.

CALL FOR ART WORK - 24HR Art

24HR Art - The Northern Territory Centre for Contemporary Art invites artists to submit contemporary artwork for the 2009 ÔBOXSETÕ program and media artists to submit experimental video work for the 2009 ÔMonitorÕ program.

 

The 24HR Art BOXSET Program is comprised of a window space at the front of the gallery. Work is to be exhibited to the public 24 hours a day. The BOXSET is a free exhibition space.

The 24HR Art Monitor Program is comprised of an outdoor screen and weatherproof speakers at the front of the gallery. Work is to be played on a loop during gallery hours.

Artists receive promotion via exhibition invites, media releases and the 24HR Art website.

Nerida Stockley - NT winner of Qantas Foundation Encouragement of Australian Contemporary Art Award

NT artist Nerida Stockley was awarded the prize at the Museum of Contemporary Art. One winner from each state received the $20 000 cash prize and $10 000 in travel. Nerida plans to use the award to gather inspiration in remote areas of Australia. Congratulations!

 

Telstra NATSIAA

This year, over 100 artworks have been selected for the 25th Telstra National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Art Award.
