Infuse

18 Aug, 10am-5pm

Are you an artist working in hybrid practice? Infuse is a forum, workshop and mentoring programme for artists working in hybrid or trans/cross/inter-disciplinary practice. Led by RealTime co-editor Keith Gallasch with artists Barbara Campbell, Hellen Sky and Sean Kelly (Tasmania) and Steve Eland (24HR Art). Infuse forum will be held in Darwin on Monday 18 August, 10am-5pm. Frog's Hollow Centre for the Arts Meeting Room. Come along to 24HR Art's fourth group of exhibitions. Urban Myths, Modern Fables, will be showing in Gallery 1. Meet the Curator Haema Sivanesan at the opening. Pet Photo Booth

View your pet photos in the DEAF Space at DVAA, Frogs Hollow Centre for the Arts, 56 Woods St, Darwin.

 

There has been a fantastic response and the last sessions have been booked out! Thank you to all pets and people who participated in Pet Photo Booth, and to Justin and Yvonne the fab photographers. Pet Photo Booth is an arts project that has been brought to Darwin as part of the 24HR Art residency program and is supported by the Australia Council for the Arts.

 

WA based photographers Justin Spiers and Yvonne Doherty are collecting images for a forthcoming book documenting Australians and their pets.

This year 33 finalists have been selected for The Togart Contemporary Art Award (NT) 2008. The exhibition will travel to Alice Springs, Katherine and Tennant Creek in late 2008. The Togart Award is exhibiting at the new Darwin Convention Centre, from 18 June - 6 July, 9.00am till 5.00pm
