Dear Member
Included in this letter is notice of our AGM to be held on Wednesday 7 May 2008 at 6:00pm at 24HR Art, Vimy Lane, Parap.
The AGM fulfils many
important functions – an opportunity for you to give us valuable input,
hear reports on the previous yearsŐ activities and vote for your Board. Your
attendance at the meeting is important as positions on the Board of management
will become vacant and new members will need to be nominated.
Nominations should be on the enclosed form and seconded by another Member and signed by the nominee. All nominated people, and people making nominations must be financial members as at 7 May 2008 and residents of the NT who are able to attend meetings in Darwin.
For those that have yet to renew their membership for 2008 please visit our web site www.24hrart.org.au for the membership renewal form. Only financial Members are allowed to vote at the AGM.
Also enclosed is a proxy form. If you canŐt come to the meeting but would like someone to vote on your behalf you can appoint another financial member to do so for you.
Members who have business items for the agenda are invited to submit them in writing in advance of the meeting, please speak to the Director first. Deadline for nominations, appointment of proxies and submission of business to the agenda is 5.00 pm 1 May 2008 at 24HR Art. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
