successful received funding from Arts NT to support immemorial, a collaborative project based in
Yogyakarta, Java Indonesia, November 2009. The curatorial rationale seeks to investigate commonalities of people from diverse
backgrounds and cultures, as they consider their ancestral histories and their
present notions of cultural identity. Darwin artists: Catriona Stanton, Hayley
West, Jenny Fraser, Min Wong and Tobias Richardson. Yogyakarta artists:
Carolina Rika, Lashita Situmorang, Maryanto, Sigit Bapak and Wimo Ambala
